Article: Focus on sustainability: 100% renewable power for all own properties
DB Cargo Deutschland properties have been using 100% renewable power since January 2025
Since 1 January 2025, all owner-occupied properties owned by DB Cargo AG in Germany have been supplied with 100% renewable power from DB Energie GmbH. This decision is fully in line with our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and climate protection. Due to ownership regulations, this switch could initially only be made in owner-occupied properties where DB Cargo has full freedom of choice. Over the course of 2025, the switch to renewable power will also be continued at the subsidiaries in order to ensure a standardised, sustainable energy supply throughout the Group.
